Since 2009, our heartbeat has remained steadfast—to Train, Equip, Empower, Inspire, Motivate, and Educatewomen and girls from deprived communities. Through strategic collaboration and innovative programs, we continue to create practical, sustainable solutions to the pressing challenges women face worldwide.
Our vision extends beyond intervention; it is a movement of transformation that fosters resilience, economic independence, and social justice for women and girls. We recognize that true empowerment is holistic—it requires access to education, leadership development, financial literacy, mental and emotional well-being, and the assurance of safe, sustainable environments.

Dr. Tsitsi Mercy Chieza (DTM)
Dr Tsitsi Mercy is a renowned Advocate and Women Empowerment Specialist who is globally recognised as a voice of authority on women’s well-being and championing faith-based community programs that empower underprivileged and marginalized women. She is a relentless force for equity, ensuring foreign women in the diaspora have access to vital information, resources, and opportunities.
A recognized leader in strategic leadership and youth development. DTM serves as a Governor in her Local Authority in Wales, guiding young adults in vision, ethos, and strategic direction. DTM is a tireless Advocate supporting victims and survivors of Domestic Abuse, Sexual Violence, Female Genital Mutilation, Forced Marriage, Honour Based Violence, Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking.
Voted among UK’s Most Inspiring and Influential Women. Tsitsi Mercy is the CEO and President of Equipped for Excellence Women’s Ministry International, founded in 2009, DTM has built a dynamic, cross-cultural platform that supports, trains, equips, and inspires women and girls, breaking denominational and societal barriers. Her work extends to Women of Faith Behind Bars (WFBB), where she provides voluntary support programs for incarcerated women, offering hope and rehabilitation.

The Wise Women Award UK, Powerhouse Global Women & Global Leadership Awards, Vessels of Virtue South Africa-Outstanding Leadership Award, Women 4 Africa Humanitarian Finalist. Dr Tsitsi Mercy was conferred an Honorary Doctorate in Humanity by Universal Global Peace and the United Nations Global Compact in recognition of her humanitarian, advocacy and support work with women who are victims and survivors of Domestic Violence & Abuse, FGM, Forced Marriage, Honour Based Violence, Modern Slavery Human Trafficking & Women in the Criminal Justice System.
A sought-after speaker, DTM is the Host of Candid Talk and the Founder and General Overseer of ROOTED, a platform dedicated to spiritual and personal transformation. DTM is known as a Relentless Destiny Shaper, she continues to challenge and change narratives, uplift communities, and drive meaningful change across the globe.
DTM is also the Founder of” The Mercy Foundation” An Arm of Equipped for Excellence that is dedicated to supporting and improving the education and physical and emotional wellbeing of children aged 0-16. Including children Living in poverty with Physical and mental health problems/ Children with Learning difficulties, acute, chronic or life limiting illnesses. Children who have been abused or neglected, witnessed domestic violence including orphaned children. The Mercy Foundation welcomes partnerships to help improve the quality of life for children especially in Africa and India.
