“I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to me” Mathew 25:36. Our God calls everyone who is lonely, afflicted, broken-hearted, and searching, to come to him and find fulfilment, hope, and renewed life.
Recent studies suggest that religion dramatically reduces the changes for inmates to engage in altercations while in prison, and increases the likelihood of reform after they have completed their sentence.
At E4E we are preparing personal, in-depth and long-term programmes that are uniquely designed to help women behind bars grow dramatically in a life-transforming relationship with Jesus Christ, repairing them for and assisting them in successful re-entry into the community.
E4E also supports the spiritual needs of those who work in such demanding environment. Although E4E prison ministry is still in it’s infancy we are extending direction and meaning and promoting personal behavioral change, slowly but surely, one woman at a time.
